What is the purpose of floor bunding?

Bunding is a retaining wall around storage which is built to put a barrier around potentially polluting or toxic substances that are being stored, in order to prevent any escape of the material should their be an accident.

What is the bunding rule?

The bunding rule relates to bunded storage and says a bund must have a minimum capacity of 110% of the volume of the largest container stored in the area, or 1/4 of the total volume of all containers being stored.
